Options for Dental Braces

Your smile is one of the first things that people notice when meeting you, which is why I am dedicated to helping you achieve a brilliant smile. One of the most common complaints that my patients have is that their teeth are crooked even after having braces as a teenager. As time passes and the body changes, so does the dental structure. In order to correct imperfections in the teeth’s alignment, you may be in need of a secondary orthodontic treatment.

Braces in adulthood is typically not something you want to think about or have to go through; however, with the advances in dental techniques and technology there are now more discreet ways to align your teeth. The most popular method is through Invisalign, which are clear trays that are molded to help straighten teeth over six months to a year. Each set of trays is worn for two weeks and then a new one is used to gradually move the teeth to a more desirable position.

Other treatments include ceramic braces and lingual braces. Ceramic braces can be matched to the tooth’s color in order to blend in and not be as noticeable as traditional metal braces. Lingual braces are placed on the inside part of the teeth and are rarely seen. Although these new methods are more appealing than metal braces, these can also be more costly.

Feel free to schedule an appointment at my Beverly Hills Orthodontics practice to discuss Invisalign, ceramic braces, and/or lingual braces. I look forward to helping you achieve the smile of your dreams.
